Choral Music Analysis with Tang

Choral Music Analysis with Tang

Website Register Tab

In this workshop, through examples taken fromPalestrina’s “Sicut Cervus”, Morten Lauridsen’s “Dirait-on” and Jaakko Mantyarvi’s “Pseudo Yoik”, Tang will share his approach in music analysis and how one can come to a more informed decision in the interpretation of a choral work. Participants should bring their own original copies of music to save the environment as well as respect the copyright of composers. If you do not have originals, a study score (to be returned post workshop) will be provided.

In line with Zoltan Kodaly’s artistic and educational philosophies, the KAM team also believes that spiritually nourishing art music and sound music education should be available to people of every kind and rank. We have thus been offering discounts to deserving students of music! As seating is limited, we can only accept up to 20 participants. Participants will be served on a first-come-first-served basis. Should you have any queries regarding registration, please do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our friendly KAM staff via register (at) kam (dot) sg for further details.
