SCS performed Arvo Part’s Passio: St John Passion in the Dark on Good Friday night at the Esplanade Concert Hall to an appreciative full house audience! SCS members had a great time performing alongside some of the finest Singaporean instrumentalists as well as fabulous musicians hailing from various corners of Australia. And yes, we sacrificed a fair bit of our eyesight in the name of art!

Thank you Straits Times (ST Life 17 April 2019 “Heightened Bleakness in the Dark”) and Radio 938NOW DJ Eugene Loh’s live radio show for the wonderful coverage of this show. The following picture was captured during rehearsal and perhaps best summarises what this beautiful concert was like![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row lg_spacing=”padding_top:30″][vc_column][tm_gallery images=”5030,5018,5019,5020,5021,5022,5023″ columns=”xs:1;sm:2;lg:3″ column_gutter=”xs:20;sm:20;md:20;lg:20″ row_gutter=”xs:20;sm:20;md:20;lg:20″][tm_spacer size=”xs:30;sm:30;md:30;lg:30″][tm_popup_video video=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuReG6Tnobc” poster=”5028″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
