ADVANCED MUSICIANSHIP PROGRAMME (Preparation for further studies)
In 2015, KAM created a special musicianship programme for adults who were interested in regular solfege and ear training. Led by Albert Tay, Director of the KAM, the pilot programme served as preparation for the rigorous audition requirements to diploma and masters studies at the International Kodaly Institute (Hungary). This special pilot programme contributed to the successful admission of one of the course participants. The Advanced Musicianship Programme will only open upon request for advanced musicians and participants who are seriously considering further studies at the International Kodaly Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music (Hungary).
BASIC MUSIC LITERACY (Adult’s Music Course & Children’s Music Course)
As a natural progression, KAM will be piloting short, weekly singing-based courses that teach music literacy for adults and children. Titled the Adult’s Music Course (AMC) and Children’s Music Course (CMC) , these courses will be taught by KAM’s established trainers and personally supervised by KAM’s director. Courses will commence in 2017.
