During the session, some of Walton Music’s new choral work was featured, we also discussed the instrumentation and size viable for performances, tips on how to create idiomatic works of art for the digital medium, improvisation, and composition of music with the use of video and online tools, how to co-create with audiences, the constraints of using zoom and copyright issues, especially with the use of the digital medium.
Special thanks to Dr. Hoh Chung Shih, Lee Jin Jun, Prof Cameron Labarr, Susan Labaar and Albert Tay. We were also thrilled to have SCS Director Reuben Lai assist with the moderation.
As we wrap up our Studiorum Series Online, we would like to extend a big thank you to all those who made it possible including our speakers, our moderators, the team at Kodály Academy of Music (Singapore), and Schola Cantorum Singapore and everyone who joined us!
